Wolverine creates new role to drive growth

Footwear group Wolverine Worldwide has promoted Elliot Brown to the new role of commercial director.

Brown, who was previously the Northern European sales director for Wolverine’s lifestyle and heritage brands, takes on responsibility for the group’s heritage brands in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

In his new role Brown will be commercially responsible for the Cat Lifestyle, Sebago and Wolverine lifestyle businesses across all territories in the region.

Brown, who has more than 20 years of sales experience, has also previously been UK managing director at Converse and Marc O’Polo, UK sales director at Levi Strauss and most recently sales director at Barbour.

Brown said there was “a fantastic opportunity to further develop our heritage brands across the EMEA owned region as we capitalise on the positive retail momentum and sell-out, and strategically position our brands for their next growth phase.”
