With London renowned for its creativity when it comes to fashion, it’s hardly surprising that London Fashion Week brings out the best street style on offer.
Over the course of the weekend, street style bared its teeth: prints abounded, loud and proud in geometricshapes or taken straight from the artist’s easel.
On the other side of the colour spectrum, there were those reflecting the mood of the catwalk by slipping into neutral, as grey tones were mixed with light tans worn smartly with a brogue or long trench coat. In the spirit of fashion moving on, some style hunters werestreets ahead of the rest of the fashion pack, keeping next season in mind with oversized masculine jackets and coatsas statement pieces. Others choose dark outerwear to be offset with a neon necklace, white stiletto heel or box satchel handbag.
They may have been found on the fringes of the show space but they were on the front row terms of being one step ahead of next season’s trends.
