Value department store Matalan launched its Christmas TV advertising campaign during the first ad break of X Factor this weekend (November 3).
The new advert, devised by BBH London, follows one family on Christmas Day and tells viewers that Christmas doesn’t have to be expensive thanks to Matalan.
The four week campaign will be aired in prime time spots during high profile programmes such as Downton Abbey
Matalan has also filmed an exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the making of the campaign, which launches on November 6 and will be shown on media partner websites such as: itv.co.uk, closer.co.uk as well as Matalan.co.uk.
