IMAGE GALLERY: Tabitha to re-launch as Tabitha London

Tabitha Somerset-Webb, the co-founder of contemporary womenswear label Project D London, is to re-launch her handbag label following an undisclosed investment.

Previously known as Tabitha, Somerset-Webb will re-launch the brand as Tabitha London on August 31 after an 18 month absence in the UK

“The Tabitha London collection has been inspired by our favourite ’70s music hits – weʼre keen to inject fun and laughter into our accessories and to bring back the days of the disco inferno,” said Somerset-Webb.

The range features large tote handbags, clutch bags and a range of iPad cases and make-up bags.

“It feels like the right time to re-launch,” a spokeswoman said. “Project D London has been operating for a couple of years and everyone needs a clutch or bag.”

The ecommerce address has been updated to reflect the change in the brand’s name, with all Tabitha London bags now available at

Retail prices range from £85 for a make-up bag up to £390 for a large studded leather handbag.
