Inditex appoints new UK managing director

Inditex UK and Republic of Ireland (RoI) managing director Stefano Sutter is leaving the role at the fast fashion business which runs Zara and Massimo Dutti.

Sutter, who will leave in the next few weeks to head up other European markets for Inditex, will be replaced by Dilip Patel who is Inditex commercial director for UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Sutter, who was appointed to head up the UK and RoI operation in 2005, will become managing director for markets including Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary.

Inditex will open a Massimo Dutti and Pull and Bear store in adjoining units on Oxford Street in London this summer.

Inditex has 111 stores in the UK and RoI across its Zara, Zara Kids, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Pull and Bear and Zara Home fascias.
