For summer 2015, Ipanema will launch over fifty styles in the UK, and promises to include innovative shapes that have not previously been available in the category. Following the recent demand for bold colours and open-toe footwear, the collection does not disappoint and delivers the right balance of the classic flip flop silhouette and new feminine shapes with sleek styling.

With a celeb fan-base including David Beckham, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and Anais Gallagher, Ipanema claim their key to success has been the focus on product development which has secured a loyal following. In a flip flop market saturated with rubber-based product, Ipanema has developed a sustainable material which is 100% recyclable, and furthermore the best for quality and comfort.

Export volumes for Ipanema have experienced sustainable growth following a focused expansion into international markets, having already secured itself as the fashion brand of choice in Brazil. Key retailers such as Nordstrom USA, Galleries Lafayette France, and UK retailers Fenwick and Debenhams have allowed Ipanema to introduce a full range across the ladies, men’s and children’s collection to fully represent the brand offering.

In July this year during the football World Cup, Ipanema launched a pop-up beach in London’s historic Covent Garden with Brazilian restaurant chain Cabana.  Similar projects are planned for summer 2015 to introduce Ipanema and an authentic Brazilian experience to their UK audience.

The Ipanema summer 2015 collection was presented at Pure London and will be shown at Moda (Birmingham) and Micam (Milan).
