Jaeger poaches womenswear designer from Burberry

Premium womenswear retailer Jaeger has appointed a senior Burberry designer to head up its womenswear design team.

Collette Brown will start at Jaeger on December 3, reporting into brand director Shailina Parti.

Prior to joining Burberry, where she was for five years, Brown previously held roles at Bally, Dolce & Gabbana and Pringle.

Stewart Binnie, executive chairman at Jaeger, said: “Collette’s expertise will be extremely valuable to the business and we look forward to working closely with her on the design and development of Jaeger’s womenswear collections.”

Last month Drapers revealed that Jaeger was considering putting third-party brands into its Regent Street flagship as part of a refresh of the store.
