Jane Norman appoints buying and merchandising director

Women’s young fashion retailer Jane Norman has appointed Sarah O’Shea to the role of buying and merchandising director.

O’Shea, who was formally a buying director at Irish fashion chain A-Wear, which was bought out of administration earlier this year, is thought to have started at the retailer this week and will report into Jane Norman owner Edinburgh Woollen Mill’s managing director for buying and merchandising, Carmel Leigh.

In her role O’Shea will manage Jane Norman’s head of merchandising Jacqueline Kennedy and head of buying Emma Benjafield.

Prior to working at A-Wear O’Shea worked as a buying director for value chain Peacocks for over three years. Peacocks was bought out of administration by Jane Norman’s owner Edinburgh Woollen Mill in February.
