Jimmy Choo signs for third London standalone

Luxury footwear retailer Jimmy Choo is to open its third standalone store in London after signing a 10-year lease on Dover Street.

Retail real estate advisor Savills has let a 1,293 sq ft store at 35a Dover Street to Jimmy Choo.

The footwear retailer will pay a rate of £130,000 per annum for the site but there is no information as yet on when the store is likely to open.

“We continue to see strong demand from retailers for shops on Dover Street, with its close proximity to Bond Street and Piccadilly it is quickly becoming a new shopping destination in Mayfair,” said Melandra Curley, director of Central London retail at Savills.

“This deal follows recent lettings to Christian Louboutin, and Gazelli Art House on the Street and we are currently marketing a further three units and expect strong interest from a variety of premium luxury brands.”

Jimmy Choo was advised by property agent Harper Denis Hobbs.
