Kim Jones named Louis Vuitton style boss

Louis Vuitton has named British designer Kim Jones, the former creative director of Alfred Dunhill, as style director at its menswear division.

Jones left Dunhill, the men’s luxury goods brand, in September after two and a half years in the role, during which he revamped the brand to appeal to a younger customer and helped grow international sales.

Jones previously ran his eponymous sportswear label.

The French fashion house has yet to comment on Jones’ move, but Jones today posted on Twitter: “First day at work as directeur du style pret a porter homme at LOUIS VUITTON.”
