Kurt Geiger in exclusive Vince Camuto distribution deal

Premium footwear retailer Kurt Geiger has announced that it has entered into an exclusive retail distribution deal in with US-based premium footwear brand Vince Camuto.

Under the agreement, Kurt Geiger will partner exclusively with Vince Camuto and its associated VC Signature and Jessica Simpson brands in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany.

Retail partners in the United Kingdom are planned to include Harrods, Liberty, Selfridges and House of Fraser while Brown Thomas and Karstadt are on board for Ireland and Germany respectively. 

Kurt Geiger also plans to open a standalone Vince Camuto store in central London in spring 2013, but did not reveal any details regarding location.

Vince Camuto, founder and chief executive of Camuto Group added: “The team at Kurt Geiger is best-in-class; Neil’s pioneering vision and direction has led to tremendous success. 

“We believe that the partnership will allow both companies to achieve significant growth within the European market.”

Kurt Geiger was acquired by US brand house Jones Group in June last year.
