There was something of the French underground resistance about these oversized trench coats, high waisted trousers and cuffed sleeve T-shirts and shirts. The silhouette crashed the 1940s into the 1990s with simple tailoring matched with plain and striped T-shirts and shirts. The luxurious and slightly feminine touches of Lanvin were given full play on laundered leather shorts and sheer shirts, while the sleeveless jackets in body-tight lines were at odds with the rest of the show in terms of silhouette.
Pleated trousers, plaid ties and soft grey shirts collided with retro influences while the 2 buttoned low slung db was pure 1980s.
