LFW exhibition to feature dedicated footwear area for the first time

London Fashion Week’s Exhibition space is to host a dedicated footwear section for the first time at its upcoming edition.

This season’s edition of LFW, which takes place from September 14-18, will see the Exhibition take place over two floors at Somerset House.

Over 110 designers, including 30 new designers, will participate in the Exhibition and for the first time the West Wing of Somerset House will host a dedicated footwear section, called the Shoe Collective.

Brands showing their collections in the Shoe Collective include London-born footwear designer Kat Maconie and the recipient of this year’s Drapers Footwear Designer of the Year accolade, Julian Hakes.

Elsewhere, the exhibition space will also house the Topshop sponsored NewGen area and Estethica, a new area which will feature collections from 15 ethical designers.
