Rock star and Oasis front man Liam Gallagher is set to launch a wholesale clothing label later this year.

Liam Gallagher talks Pretty Green

The menswear collection is called Pretty Green, after a song by The Jam. It will feature footwear, denim, knitwear, jackets, trench coats, parkas, T-shirts, hats, scarves and accessories.

“I’m not here to rip anyone off and I’m not doing it for the money either. I’m doing it cuz [sic] there’s a lack of stuff out there of the things I would wear.”

Liam Gallagher will design the range but will be supported by a team of industry professionals, according to reports.

Gallagher said he was launching the range in response to not being able to buy enough of what he wanted to wear on the high street.

“Clothes and music are my passion,” said Gallagher

“I’m not here to rip anyone off and I’m not doing it for the money either. I’m doing it cuz [sic] there’s a lack of stuff out there of the things I would wear,” he said of the Pretty Green label.
