LVMH and Central Saint Martins scholarship winners revealed

French luxury goods group LVMH has awarded three Grand Prix LVMH Scholarships this year, offering financial support for budding designers to continue their studies at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design.

The scholarships were given to Asad Rehman Khan and Mao Usami, who are reading a BA in fashion womenswear, and Nathaniel Christopher Lyles, who is on the BA fashion knitwear course.

The award covers the students’ full tuition and living expenses throughout their final year. The winners were selected based on academic merit, professional potential and financial need, chosen by a panel that included representatives from both LVMH and Central Saint Martins.

“These scholarships give the recipients peace of mind and freedom from the anxiety of daily financial problems, allowing them to concentrate on the creative input necessary to achieve their remarkable final collections,” said Willie Walters, director of BA Fashion at Central Saint Martins.
