MAN Day shows just how important the men’s fashion industry has become, from the rise of the menswear bloggers photographing style and offering style opinion and advice, to the success of our recent partnership with Esquire magazine in the search for Britain’s Best Dressed Man.

It’s difficult not to notice the trend of how men are smartening up, taking tailoring out of the office and into everyday life. Blazers, pocket squares, cuff links and smarter shoes are being worn by men of all ages and all walks of life.

Because of this trend we are looking forward to seeing what direction tailoring is going for SS12, especially the E Tautz collection by Patrick Grant, who already stamped his mark on the market, with his natural Saville Row flair.

One collection in particular that I am looking forward to seeing is Oliver Spencer, regularly stocked by my-wardrobe. I expect to see some of the SS12 collection, which in his words is inspired by “French Mod style, colour and jersey” on the my-wardrobe site next year.
