Manchester office for Brand National

London-based sales agency Brand National has opened a Manchester showroom in an effort to grow its business in the North.

The agency, which represents brands including Kat Maconie women’s footwear, Danish womenswear label Becksöndergaard and women’s young fashion brand Sin Star, already has a showroom in Wapping, east London. It hopes customers will be able to save on expensive buying trips to London.

“We felt it was important to have a base in Manchester, to enable us to offer a better service, with more regular contact and closer partnerships with our customers,” said Brand National director Kam Harris.

The agency’s northern customers include Manchester young fashion indie Aspecto, womenswear indie Sunday Best in Rawtenstall, Lancashire, premium York indie Sarah Coggles and young fashion indie Fallen Hero in Scunthorpe.

The Manchester showroom will be run by Russell McWilliams, formerly of lifestyle brand Henri Lloyd, and Fay Saunt, who previously worked for Firetrap.
