Designer outlet group McArthurGlen is to launch its first ever Workwear Week with women’s charity Dress for Success.
Workwear Week will run across McArthurGlen’s seven UK outlets from July 2 -8 and Dress for Success will work with McArthurGlen to host pop-up panels at the centres giving recruitment advice and providing style consultants.
Dress for Success is a non-profit organisation that provides professional attire and career consultations to help women secure jobs and thrive in the workplace.
“At Dress for Success we help around 1,000 women every year get back to work,” said Deleyth Evans chief executive of Dress for Success London.
“We tell women about how important it is to look good when they attend interviews and what we find is, once we have found them something nice to wear, it really improves their confidence and helps them feel a lot better about themselves.”
Workwear Week will see Dress for Success London tour McArthurGlen’s UK centres in a bid to help women with any work related matters they wish to address including returning to the work place from motherhood, preparing for an important interview or looking to re-appraise everyday office style.
“Appearance can have a major impact on self-esteem and with so many great brands in our centres offering amazing workwear staples; we wanted to dedicate a whole week to helping women win in the work place,” added Shaeren McKenzie, director of McArthurGlen Group.
In addition to McArthurGlen’s usual 60% off all brands including Michael Kors, Nicole Farhi, Hobbs, Jaeger, LK Bennett, The Kooples and Reiss, Workwear Week will also offer flash sales and exclusive discounts.
Workwear Week will take place in McArthurGlen’s Ashford, Bridgend, Swindon, East Midlands, York and Cheshire Oaks designer outlets from July 2-8. Workwear Week Scotland in McArthurGlen’s Livingston Designer Outlet will take place one week earlier from June 25 – July 1.
