Milan men's fashion week begins tomorrow

Milan men’s fashion week gets underway tomorrow, kicking off the autumn 12 season, with organisers expecting 10,000 visitors from around the world to the four day event.

Italian designers including Gucci, Versace and Prada will all present their men’s autumn 12 collections as part of the 39 shows being held over the four days.

British brands that will show in Milan include Burberry (pictured) and Vivienne Westwood.

Dolce&Gabbana, Jil Sander and Roberto Cavalli are among those kicking off the shows on Saturday.

They will be followed on Sunday by Bottega Veneta, Emporio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo, Vivienne Westwood, Prada and Missoni.

Monday will see John Richmond, Gucci, Etro and Versace take to the catwalks with Dsquared2 and Giorgio Armani following on Tuesday.

British designer Jonathan Saunders will hold a presentation to showcase his autumn 12 menswear collection on January 16 - the first time Saunders has had any menswear presence in Milan.

Paris men’s fashion week starts the day after Milan concludes on January 18.
