Mischa Barton launches clothing site

Actress turned handbag designer Mischa Barton has launched her own clothing site called Mischa’s Place.

The former star of TV series The OC launched the site, mischasplace.com, which has a UK version and sells clothing, accessories and cosmetics last week.

The site presents the products using artists’ sketches of each piece and prices range from £40 for a t-shirt up to £260 for a knit and fur polyester blend long-length waistcoat.

The clothing on the site has a bohemian feel and consists of leggings, t-shirts, jackets, waistcoats and layered dresses and skirts.

Barton’s range of handbags, which the actress launched in 2008 and now sells in retailers including Asos and Debenhams, will also be available through the site.

The actress has also announced that she is to open a flagship store in London’s Spitalfields Market in late spring.
