Morleys Stores, the independent department store group, has added Roomes of Upminster in Essex to its portfolio, as predicted by Drapers magazine (May 30).
Morleys Stores, which owns five independent department stores across south-east England, said the acquisition represented a “perfect strategic and geographical fit” for the group. The group added that it was keen to consider and further opportunities that may arise in the current climate.
“We are delighted to welcome Roomes into our store portfolio, as it represents a perfect strategic and geographical fit.”
