Nathan Jenden

The look:

A primarily black and white palette left shape, silhouette and fabric to do the talking at Nathan Jenden’s wintery show. Black satin waistcoats were flared at the waist with three-fold hems and given a gothic twist with fishnet sleeves, while an inverse innocence was created as papery cotton was cut and concertinaed into billowing oversized snowflake dresses.

Key pieces:

Colour-blocking on wool skirts drew the eye in and created a slim-line silhouette which offered a contrast to the voluminous dress shapes, and teddy boy suits were updated with wraparound loops of matching fabric on puppytooth cigarette pants.
