New Look’s non-executive chairman Alistair McGeorge is stepping down after three years at the retailer.
McGeorge, who has held the role since May 2011, will step down from the board at the end of May to pursue other opportunities.
Tom Singh, founder and executive director, will become interim non-executive chairman until a permanent successor is appointed.
Alistair McGeorge said: “I have greatly enjoyed my time at New Look but I feel that it’s the right time to seek new challenges. I am very proud of what we have achieved and I am fully confident that the company will continue to flourish under Anders and his team. I wish all my colleagues the best for the future.”
Anders Kristiansen, chief executive of New Look said McGeorge’s contribution and commitment to the retailer had been “invaluable”.
He added: “Alistair has been an instrumental part of the transformation of the company over the past three years. I would like to take this opportunity to express my enormous gratitude to Alistair for his stewardship and counsel and I wish him all the best with his future endeavours.”
