New Look to launch social media platform via YouTube

New Look is to launch a weekly online interactive TV show which will be distributed via an eponymously branded YouTube channel.

Due to launch on September 18, the format will invite viewers to upload their own content, to offer comment and to visit New Look stores where filming for the show will take place.

The channel is being created by digital agency Zone, which was briefed to create innovative ways to engage a young fashion-conscious audience. Jon Davies, managing director at Zone, said: “This is a first for a big brand high street retailer and demonstrates the importance of digital interactive content in bringing the in-store experience to life online.”
