Red Alert agency ups in-season options

Agency and distributor Red Alert has signed short-order womenswear brands Reverse and Goldie to boost its in-season young fashion offer.

Out of 50 women’s young fashion indies polled for this week’s Drapers Indicator survey, 30% said they placed in-season orders on a daily basis, and 60% did so at least once a week.

Red Alert is the first UK agent for Australian brand Reverse, whose dresses and tops wholesale from £10 to £18. It has signed 30 accounts for Reverse for autumn 11, including Leeds-based young fashion mini-chain Ark, Choice in Essex, and branded young fashion chain USC.

Goldie, a new vintage-inspired label from designer Michelle Goldie, launched a concession in Topshop in spring 11 and has signed 15 additional accounts for autumn 11, including mini-chain Flannels. Its floral and lace designs wholesale at between £16 and £28.

Red Alert has showrooms in London and Manchester and can deliver stock within one week.
