A court in Bangladesh will try 41 defendants on murder charges over the collapse of Rana Plaza, which killed 1,135 workers making garments for Western retailers and brands, among others.
The complex housed five garment factories supplying global brands at the time the building collapsed in April 2013.
Rana Plaza owner Sohel Rana is the principal accused, according to Reuters. He is in jail, while 16 of his co-accused are on bail and the remaining 24 are understood to have absconded.
A date for trial has not yet been announced.
