Abercrombie & Fitch has opened its second UK location, at Manchester’s Intu Trafford Centre.
The 5,554 sq ft flagship store is one of eight stores that have been completed since the launch of a new design in February 2017, and only the second location outside of the US following an opening in Hong Kong.
Abercrombrie & Fitch says the new prototype was designed to encourage product trial while providing the customer with a new vision of the A&F brand, and has demonstrated improved customer engagement and productivity on a smaller footprint.
The layout includes features such as fitting rooms with features designed to enhance the customer’s mood, including separate controls for light and music, as well as a phone-charging dock.
