Abercrombie to open first UK kidswear store

Abercrombie & Fitch will open its first UK kidswear flagship at 3 Savile Row, London, on August 30.

The store, which used to be the headquarters of The Beatles’ Apple Records, will stock the retailer’s full offer for girls and boys across three floors. Abercrombie & Fitch declined to provide a square footage for the store.

The shop, which is located across the road from its main London flagship at 7 Burlington Gardens, will display memorabilia paying homage to Apple Records and The Beatles. Glass heritage cases at the entrance of the store will feature photos, books, records and a guitar signed by Sir Paul McCartney.

Mike Jeffries, chief executive of Abercrombie & Fitch, said: “The Beatles are music legends and we’re fortunate to be able to open our first kidswear flagship in the UK in this location. We’re proud to offer our customers a unique shopping experience that pays respect to Apple Records and one of the most iconic bands of all time.”
