Adidas launches east London flagship

Adidas has unveiled a new 1,900 sq ft flagship in Shoreditch, featuring a space for local creatives.

The shop is located on Hanbury Street and opens on 12 October. It will launch with 200 pairs of its limited edition Campus shoes.

The store’s interior features reclaimed doors from the British Museum, a bespoke “steel shoe wall” and reclaimed flooring.

Adidas said it aims to “provide a destination for local creatives to meet, network and bring their ideas to life”.

The space will showcase and distribute hand-picked product drops, limited edition products and selected seasonal items, and will offer pieces from London creators through a permanent “activation wall” installation.

UK brand director Barry Moore said: “This new concept store will provide a unique retail experience, combined with a platform to champion young local creatives in the East London area.”
