Agent Provocateur chairman exits after accounting error

British lingerie firm Agent Provocateur has replaced its chairman Chris Woodhouse amid an inquiry into an accounting error.

Woodhouse has been replaced by Ian Lobley, a partner at Agent Provocateur’s parent company, 3i Group.

Woodhouse will remain on the board as a non-executive director.

As previously reported by Drapers, Agent Provocateur is restructuring after difficult trading conditions and an accountancy error caused 3i Group to write down the value of the business.
