Agent Provocateur poaches CEO from Dior

Agent Provocateur has appointed former Dior Homme managing director Fabrizio Malverdi as its new chief executive.

Malverdi joins the firm with immediate effect and has more than 15 years’ experience at luxury brands including Christian Dior, Givenchy, John Galliano, Calvin Klein, Vivienne Westwood, and Martin Margiela.

Prior to joining Agent Provocateur, he was managing director of Dior Homme and was previously CEO of John Galliano and Givenchy.

Malverdi said: “I look forward to working with the existing management team to lead Agent Provocateur in the next phase of its growth, consolidating its position as a key player in the luxury fashion sector.”

Chris Woodhouse, chairman of Agent Provocateur, added: “Renowned for his focus on creative product, growth and value creation, Fabrizio is a hugely respected professional, having previously led some of the most recognised international brands in the sector. I am sure that his extensive industry experience and skills will be invaluable to Agent Provocateur.”
