Alexander McQueen to collaborate with Target

Alexander McQueen is to design a range for US value fashion chain Target next year.

Alexander McQueen will create a version of his McQ diffusion collection for Target under the name McQ Alexander McQueen for Target.

The McQ Alexander McQueen for Target range is designer to appeal to a slightly older customer than Target’s previous designer collaborations. Target has done collections with Luella Bartley and Temperley London in the past.

The McQ Alexander McQueen for Target collection will feature lightweight knits, skinny jeans, bubble dresses and cuffed shorts.

The McQueen range will be part of a new Designer Collaborations initiative that Target will launch in March. The retailer said it would be separate to its Go International initiative which Temperley and Luella were part of.
