Alexander McQueen upsizes Clerkenwell head office

Alexander McQueen has signed a deal to take a bigger head office in London’s Clerkenwell next year.

The British fashion house has pre-let a 30,000 sq ft space at 1 Aylesbury Street to be used as a head office and design studio, according to Property Week.

It currently occupies 13,000 sq ft office space at 76 Clerkenwell Road.

The six-storey Aylesbury Street building is currently under construction and is expected to be complete in summer 2016.

Alexander McQueen previously had a 6,000 sq ft office at 10 Amwell Street in Clerkenwell, before moving to Clerkenwell Road in 2008.

Alexander McQueen has not yet responded to Drapers’ request for comment.
