Alexon appoints Jane McNally as chief executive

Alexon chief executive John Osborn is to retire as exclusively revealed by Drapers March 29. Osborn will be replaced by Peacocks’ buying and merchandising director Jane McNally.

Osborn, who has been at the business for 15 years, will step down later this year. McNally’s start date has not yet been finalised.

Alexon’s fashion director and Osborn’s right-hand woman Lesley Thompson stepped down earlier this year.

Alexon owns womenswear brands Alex & Co, Ann Harvey, Eastex, Dash and Kaliko as well as the Bay Trading young fashion chain.
