Amanda Wakeley back on market

Designer womenswear label Amanda Wakeley has been put up for sale less than two months after it was bought by Jason Granite via his Arvoco investment vehicle.

Earlier this month Arvoco advanced a Creditors Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) proposal after Amanda Wakeley was unable to pay more than £4 million owed to creditors when Arvoco bought the business. The CVA will give creditors 48p in the pound over five years. Jo Rossell, who was appointed head of creative design last month, has also left the business.
