Amazon launches Dash button in the UK

The Amazon Dash button, which allows consumers to order specific products from Amazon with the touch of a button installed in the home, has launched in the UK.

The button, installed in the home, is designed to act as an ordering point for essential items. Pressing the button automatically orders the items for home delivery.

Currently, the button can be used to order household items from brands such as Rimmel, Neutrogena, Fairy and Kleenex, and costs £4.99 to buy.

While the products available through the Dash button at the moment are mainly home and lifestyle products, Amazon says more brands will be added over time.
