Amazon is preparing for its largest-ever Black Friday sale, and has introduced new technology across the site in an effort to win over shoppers.
The Sale on the site will run from Friday 16 November to Sunday 25 November – Black Friday itself falls on 23 November.
Alongside deals on electronics and home, the retailer is introducing new tech tools and functions for the event.
Amazon Fashion has launched its try-before-you-buy service, Prime Wardrobe, and is also offering mobile parcel tracking and visual search. In home, it has launched an augmented reality function, AR View, which allows customers to virtually place selected home items in their own surroundings.
Amazon will also run a pop-up, called The Home of Black Friday, in east London’s Shoreditch, to promote its offers.
