Amazon sold more than a quarter of a million items of clothing during its 36-hour Prime Day promotion, which started on Sunday 15 July and ended at midnight on Monday 16 July.
During the promotion, which offered discounts of 30% on many of Amazon’s in-house ranges, as well as brands such as Puma, New Balance and Vans, led to the sale of 287,000 items of clothing and 400,000 beauty products.
The summer 2018 promotion included a selection of clothing from Amazon Fashion labels Find and Truth & Fable. Popular items included summer dresses, sandals and denim styles.
Prime Day 2018 also marked the introduction of Prime Day Launches – never-before-seen new and limited edition items available exclusively to Prime members on Amazon.co.uk before anywhere else in the UK.
