My-Wardrobe.com has ramped up its Sale to 70% off all current season product, as the troubled business prepares to make an announcement about its future.
The etailer is running the Sale across all categories including clothing, footwear and accessories. A spokesman for My-Wardrobe told Drapers it was “incredibly busy” and experiencing a “huge volume of sales”, and would reveal details of its fate tomorrow.
My-Wardrobe was discounting current season stock by 40% in November, just two months after it revealed it was cancelling all of its spring 15 orders.
In September, the business told Drapers it was “pausing to review all strategic options”, but declined to provide further details.
In the past year, My-Wardrobe has seen a series of high-level departures including co-founder Andrew Curran, fashion director Carmen Borgonovo, chief executive David Worby and trading director Joanna Stephenson.
Curran set up My-Wardrobe with his ex-wife Sarah in 2006. Sarah Curran joined Shop Direct in December as a director, after leaving My-Wardrobe in July 2013.
