Apricot to launch Outfit concessions

Women’s young fashion retailer Apricot is to launch five concessions in Arcadia-owned Outfit stores at the end of the month as the chain looks to expand.

The retailer, which has more than 500 concessions across Europe, said in branching out to larger spaces it demonstrates the demand for the product.

Apricot will launch in Outfit’s Greenford, Edinburgh, Newbury and York stores from October 31. It will also launch a concession in the new Bedford Outfit store, which opens on November 28.

Apricot’s managing director Philip Chaimo said: “We are delighted to be working with Outfit. Larger concessions means that we can introduce some of our latest visual display concepts.”

Outfit, which has 56 stores, houses collections retailers including Topshop Dorothy Perkins, Warehouse, Miss Selfridge and Burtons.
