Aquascutum has appointed Philip Brassington, former managing director of Alfred Dunhill, in the same role.
Brassington started his career at Sainsbury’s, where he was a graduate finance trainee from 1997 to 2000.
From there he moved into financial analyst roles at Universal Music Group and then The Walt Disney Company, before joining Richemont-owned menswear and accessories business Alfred Dunhill as head of business control and finance manager in 2002.
He worked his way up to managing director and finance and operations director, a role he held from August 2010 to August 2015.
He then spent 10 months travelling around the world on a planned career break.
At Aquascutum he indirectly replaces chief operating officer Mark Taylor, who stepped down in July after three years.
The premium British brand has also appointed Te Dinh Sy joins as head of menswear.
Dinh Sy was a menswear designer at Alexander McQueen, McQ by Alexander McQueen and Kenzo between 2004 and 2008. He replaces Thomas Harvey, who left last month.
