Aquascutum chief operating officer Mark Taylor will step down from his role in July after three years with the company, to pursue another opportunity.
Chief executive Andrew Chan will take up the additional responsibilities in the interim period, and recruitment for a replacement has already started.
Taylor was previously finance director at Juicy Couture from April 2011 to March 2013 and managing director of clothing, fabric and homeware brand Cabbages and Roses from December 2009 to April 2011. He was also group head of finance at Jigsaw from March 2000 to December 2009.
“I would like to personally thank all involved with the brand for their continued support over the past three years,” said Taylor. “I am proud of the achievements and growth of the brand both in the domestic market and also from an international perspective.”
Chan added: “I would like to thank Mark Taylor for his valuable contribution to the brand and the business. Aquascutum has made great progress over recent years, and will continue to do so in order to achieve its goal of being a successful global brand.
“We wish Mark all the best for his next chapter.”
Earlier this week, Drapers revealed that Thomas Harvey is to leave his role as head of menswear at Aquascutum in July.
