Arcadia to bring Miss Selfridge to the US

Arcadia is in talks with Nordstorm and Macy’s to launch Miss Selfridge in the US.

It is thought the group, which is already expanding into the US with Topshop and Topman, will launch its Miss Selfridge fascia in the country before the end of the year.

A spokeswoman for Arcadia said that the company was “in on going discussions” but nothing has been confirmed so far.

It is unclear whether Arcadia is seeking to strike up a concession deal for Miss Selfridge, similar to its Topshop partnership with Nordstrom which currently operates 15 boutiques.

Evans is also set to be rolled out to more Nordstrom doors, from the current six.

Topshop has four brick-and-mortar stores in the US following its most recent opening in Los Angeles in February.

Topshop is eyeing further international expansion and opened a 14,000 sq ft flagship in Hong Kong on June 6. Managing director Mary Homer told Drapers she hoped it would be the first of many, identifying Beijing and Shanghai as prime locations for growth.
