Arket reveals second UK location

H&M Group’s new fascia, Arket will open its second UK store – and third globally – in London’s Covent Garden later this year.,

Arket, which means ”sheet of paper” in Swedish, will open in a former H&M store at 27-29 Long Acre later this year.

The retailer will make its debut in the former Banana Republic unit at 224 Regent Street in London in the autumn. The store will offer own-label fashion and selected third-party brands, and an in-store cafe.

The second store will be at Købmagergade 33 in central Copenhagen. The property was built in 1733 and served as headquarters for the Royal Danish Mail until 1912 and then became a post office.

Stores in Brussels and Munich will also follow.

Arket will launch online in 18 countries at the same time.
