Asda's Pauline Chisholm moves to Jacques Vert Group

Jacques Vert Group (JVG) has poached George at Asda’s Pauline Chisholm for a newly-created role as head of business development.

Chisholm is currently senior manager of franchise and international operations for the supermarket’s fashion brand, which she joined in 2010. She will join JVG on September 29 and report to Rose Foster, group multichannel director.

Her new role involes overseeing sourcing, scoping and delivering all new business channels and opportunities in the UK and internationally, including franchise, online, concession, licensing and wholesale.

The appointment is part of JVG’s effort to accelerate its expansion overseas, as reported by Drapers last week.

Prior to joining Asda she worked a three-year stint as international regional business manager for Arcadia Group, overseeing the brands’ franchise operations - more than 200 stores across eight markets - in the Middle East.

From 2004 to 2006 she was brand manager for Topman, Oxford Circus.
