Asics is “fit for the future” following the completion of its transformation programme, its EMEA CEO has said.
Following the opening of six new concept stores and a renewed focus on digital marketing and merchandising, the brand said that is has seen 14% growth in-store and ecommerce sales rise by 39%.
In 2017, Asics opened new concept stores in London, Berlin, Paris, Milan, Copenhagen and Vienna.
It has also seen growth in emerging markets, including growth of 30% in Russia and “positive growth” in the Middle East since the opening of a dedicated subsidiary in 2016.
Asics said the programme focused on “building closer customer connections, prioritising strategic growth initiatives, and becoming more responsive to a rapidly changing world”.
