Asics will open its biggest UK concession in Harrods on Monday (March 10), taking a 377 sq ft space on the department store’s fifth floor.
The concession will feature the brand’s complete performance running collection and a 3D foot mapping system to help customers find the perfect running shoes.
The new store will be the largest Asics concession to open in the UK and will be the brand’s fourth biggest outlet in London after its Oxford Street, Argyle Street, W1 and Canary Wharf stores.
Asics UK and Ireland managing director Barry Mellis said: “As the demand for premium sportswear continues to grow, its opportunity will allow us to deliver the best service and brand experience in a first-class retail environment.”
Jason Broderick, director of menswear, sports and fine watches at Harrods said Asics was the first brand to be revealed for its new fifth floor sports area.
“Asics is a world renowned sports brand and will be an exceptional addition to the exclusive offering we are building within the Harrods sportswear department,” he added.
