Asos appoints M&S chief information officer

Asos has appointed Marks & Spencer’s interim chief information officer Clifford Cohen to the chief information officer position left vacant when Pete Marsden left in the middle of last year.

M&S hired Cohen from Accenture eight years ago, first as business solutions manager and then head of IT for the company’s multichannel operation.

He was appointed interim chief information officer of M&S when Darrell Stein left in July to take up the same position at consumer goods company Reckitt Benckiser.

It is not yet known when Cohen will start at Asos.

Asos declined to comment and Marks & Spencer has yet to respond to Drapers’ request for comment.
