Asos to repeat student collection

Asos has joined forces with the London College of Fashion for the second year running to create a capsule collection of one-off pieces designed by first-year or final-year design students, to be sold online.

The young fashion etailer is inviting up to 100 students to submit as many as three one-off menswear, womenswear or accessories pieces for possible inclusion in its Ltd 100 collection. Asos will select the best to sell online and three of the designers chosen will also be offered an internship with Asos. The etailer may also buy the rights to selected designs.

Last year’s Ltd 100 collection sold out within two minutes. This year’s pieces will go on sale on July 3. Drapers is the media partner for the Ltd 100 competition.

  • Arrrggghhhhh why cant retailers like ASOS see past London College of Fashion and other london universities - there are loads of other universities in the country with thousands of creative, talented fashion students that graduate every year, LCF is not the best and speaking as a fashion student that DOESNT go to there, we're not even getting a look in. ASOS, youre missing out on a wealth of talent.
