Asos to trial mobile-enabled returns with Pass My Parcel

Asos has signed up to trial mobile-enabled returns collection service with Pass My Parcel in 20 retail outlets.

Pass My Parcel launched with Amazon as its first customer in October 2014. It is a wholly-owned parcel delivery service from Smiths News, a leading newspaper and magazine wholesaler and part of the Collect Group. It allows customers to pick up parcels from a network of local shops such as newsagents and convenience stores within 12 hours of placing an order.

Asos has signed up for an initial trial in 20 retail outlets using a quick response (QR) code sent to customers’ mobile phones, which will be rolled out across the remaining 3,000 outlets over the coming months.

Collect Group reported that its Pass My Parcel service delivered an “excellent operational performance” over the peak Christmas period today.
